What is the unwarper?
T= he unwarper seeks to automatically straighten a texture with wavy or warped= patterns. In addition to this it automatically identifies patterns within = the texture. When attaching it to a default mutation node the pattern will = automatically be maintained as you grow to your chosen resolution.= p>
Input Type: Bitmap/Material
Output Type: Bitmap/Material
The pattern unwarp node begins by looking for the smallest possible patt= erns, in doing this it can find groups of pixels that look like a pattern t= o it, but to a human is clearly wrong. When this is happening manually indi= cating the pattern can help, this also significantly improves analysis time= .
The unwarper is usually used as a part of the mutation workflow, which y= ou can consult here.

This node will detect the area= s of shadow in an input colour map and generate a mask to aid in the remova= l of it, or to facilitate the adjustment of these areas.
This page presents how to proc= ess your bitmaps as materials. There are multiple ways to do so.
The Amend and Expose nodes fac= ilitate the processing of individual bitmaps for a few nodes and adding the= m back in the material.
