Tom | status | Soartech updating the algorithms. Unity will be updating the user interface. Compressed timeline. Need to get to July capture at West Point. July 5-8 tentative. |
Jason Grundy |
| FN uses the VictoR to capture shot data from the cadets and identify the bottom 20% marksmanship. Data collected identifies cadets ready to move on and those who need remediation. This will be the 2nd year. First year was a bust. Not able to accurately identify the poor marksmen. |
Tom |
| Soartech is the human factors part of the team. Soartech works with Dr Cook at Westpoint. Table 6 is the marksmanship table used by Army. Unity’s part is to predict the students score/marksmanship with a limited number of dry fires using the VictoR. Being able to predict shooter accuracy during dry fire drills is the key discriminator. |
Eric D' |
| How many devices would be needed? |
Tom |
| We can move forward with Soartech dev as soon as the IMU data is integrated into the session data. Benoit - Currently is captured but is a raw data dump from last year. Will be a lot to parse. |
|
| ** updated the Software MVP document ** Went through all the req’s and broke them down into priorities and Unity/Soartech responsibilities. |
Unity’s part is the accurate collection of shooter data. And the user interface.
The “blended assessment” utilizes the image plus the IMU data to create highly accurate shooter assessment.
Soartech’s part is to develop the predictive algorithm.
For the July event, capability can be limited to data collection and some version of the UI/UX.
